The rapid development of ED, an emerging industry, has led to disconnected certification standards for related products. Although the European Union has not yet developed a set of safety standards for LED light source lighting products, some EU countries (France, Denmark, etc.) have begun to require the use of LED road lighting fixtures that meet the CLASS2 power supply. Although domestic LED outdoor lighting fixtures have UL certification, but basically use UL60950 standard certified power supply, with the further development of the LED semiconductor industry, LED light source products using CLASS2 power drive is the future development trend.

 The UL1310 standard stipulates that the output end of a CLASS2 power supply device should provide an output cord, terminal block, insulated lead or output terminal block. After the power supply's protective cover, partition, or protective gear that can be removed without tools, the output end is the largest according to the degree of different test pins, joint detectors or tactile detectors, and access to live parts. Voltage has different requirements.

Before testing the terminal terminal voltage, it is necessary to confirm that non-insulated live parts must be fixed on the surface of the substrate or accessories. They must not have a minimum acceptable minimum distance due to rotation or displacement. At the same time, live parts that will cause electric shock must be surrounded. Lift or place in a place that reduces the danger of access.

1.The maximum voltage requirements and test methods for the exposed terminals of CLASS2 power supply are as follows:

The maximum voltage of the live parts that can be accepted by the exposed terminal of CLASS2 is under the force of not exceeding 25N (5.62 pounds) of the detector. Do not touch the detector with live parts exceeding the following voltages: 1). 42.4V; 2), continuous direct current of 42.4V; 3), the peak value of the direct current of about 50% duty cycle is 24.8V when the frequency is equal to or less than 200Hz;

2. The maximum voltage requirements and test methods for live parts that can be contacted by non-exposed terminals of CLASS2 power supply are as follows:

The maximum voltage of the live parts accepted by the non-exposed terminals of the CLASS2 power supply is: under the action of the test pin and the joint detector not exceeding 4.4N (1 pound), the following circuits and live parts exceeding the voltage cannot be touched. Needle and joint detectors: 1) primary circuit; 2) sinusoidal or non-sinusoidal AC peak 42.4V; 3) continuous DC 60V; 4) DC peak 24.8 subject to frequency equal to or less than 200Hz, approximately 50% duty cycle V; 5) Mixed peaks of DC and AC.

LED power products obviously have more stringent performance test requirements for the terminal blocks. The design of LED light source product terminal blocks has taken into account its complex application properties in advance. Both exposed and non-exposed terminal blocks have passed the voltage test, which is safe and reliable. Sex has won praise from LED customers.
